Rates & Insurance.
The fee for an initial one-hour meeting and consultation is $200.
Follow-up, 50-55 minute therapy sessions are $170.
If you would like to use your insurance to pay for therapy, be sure to call your insurance provider to inquire about your benefits. You will want to confirm that your policy covers outpatient psychotherapy, and that you are not required you to see one of their therapists. Ask about your coverage for seeing an out-of-network therapist*. Also, make sure you inquire about your deductible, session limits, and any preauthorization that might be needed.
*I am in-network for clients who are covered by The Alliance and Blue Cross Blue Shield. I am considered out-of-network for all other insurance providers.
I also reserve several slots on my case load for sliding scale self-pay clients. If you are interested in this option, please feel free to ask about it!
